Your info is safe with Alice. We will never ask for your bank account or card numbers. Alice only needs you to login with your online banking User name and Password so that Alice can help find and confirm your pretax eligible expenses.
We use this information to establish a secure connection with your bank or credit card company. This enables Alice to find your transaction information securely and automatically.
Check out our security info here.
Why can't I give you my debit or credit card number?
Connecting with your user name and password is more secure. It allows an encrypted one-way view into your transactions.
Please don't send Alice your credit or debit card numbers! Alice will never ask you for your credit card or debit card numbers. There is no charge for using Alice- Alice is always free for you to use.
What if I have a credit card and a debit card with a single banking institution?
That's great, it means you'll just need to connect once. Alice connects to all your debit and/or credit cards within your account. It also means you don't have to update anything in Alice when you are issued new cards.
What if I have a joint account or multiple users connected to one bank account?
For your security we will never ask for your debit card or credit card numbers. We connect through your bank account to view your purchases and see if they are eligible. If you get a text about something your family member purchased, please reply “No” so this does not get added to your Alice account.
What if I change my bank account username or password?
This is very common so whenever Alice notices you made any updates to your login info, you'll get a text message reminding you to reconnect.
Why is Alice asking me to reverify my account login info?
Occasionally your bank or credit card may ask you to verify that you still want to be connected to Alice. This is a very common security measure that keeps your accounts safe. Some banks will require this more often than others, depending on their security requirements.
Our team has a couple tricks up our sleeve, so if you find yourself needed to reconnect often, let us know at email@example.com so we can help you out.
